Deer Close Up

Are you like me? Do you tend to see things as your imagination has pictured them rather than as they are? Do you turn deer into Bambi characters?

Tamara and I spend as much time as we can looking at animals. We take binoculars to the zoo and to safari parks and out into the countryside.

And we look at animals through our binoculars even when they are just a few yards away from us.

Still, for all that I have a tendency to draw on my imagination rather than what I actually see and to think that deer have cute faces.

And they are lovely – but then I think that about more or less all animals, and birds, and insects, and flowers, and etc.

But lovely and cute are not the same – and I hope you get some pleasure out of looking at the close ups for a while and seeing what is there to be seen.
