Here is a link to photographs and an article in the Quillcards Blog about Sarnath in India, where the Buddha taught after he attained enlightenment.

There are photographs of the huge brick tower or stupa that is in the park. Apparently only about half of it remains so it must have been overwhelmingly huge when it was built 1500 years ago.

Lightbox Gallery is a great plugin for enabling photograph thumbnails to be arranged on a page of a self-hosted {Wordpress.org} website.

I have added it to a page of photos you can see here I have made showcasing a selection of my ‘street’ photos. I have also written a short article showing how you can add a lightbox gallery like this to your self-hosted WordPress blog.
