Three Men On The Bridge

For the past day I have been wondering what the two little propellor blades are on top of the man’s head.

Maybe I was led up the wrong alley because the man to the right has little silver decorations in his hair.

Then I realised the two little propellor blades are the holders for the light fixture across the road, and they are just peeping out over his head.

  1. While having beads to finish braids is a fairly normal hair embellishment, those ‘helicopter blades’ are far too mechanical to be accidental and not as focussed as his hair, so ‘farther off’, she says after reading what you’d already said.

      1. Like you say, we fill in the details. I used to read two or three books at the same time – and sometimes I would think I was reading one when in reality I was reading another. Something or other would switch on the light and make me aware of my mistake. The interesting bit was tracing back to the little stepping stones of ‘logic’ in my mind that reconciled odd bits of information into the weave of the story I thought I was reading. 🙂

        1. Mmm, having tried it once or twice…
Never liked to split my focus like that.
(For exactly as you mentioned; )
