  1. Lovely photo, David! From the botanic gardens here, yes? From our recent visit, or another day?

    1. Yes, from the Botanic Garden. It was because of our visit that, the next day when I was due to meet Mark, I went back and photographed it when I had my ‘proper’ camera with me. In actuality, the photo I took with my phone when we saw the plant is pretty good too (I mean in terms of the quality that the phone was able to capture). Here it is on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CSwxAoqqK43/

      1. You know, I wondered precisely that about the camera. I thought that your first photo here was far “too” good for an iPhone.🤩

        1. Yes, and if we consider the close up of the flowers, it is actually a crop – just a small part copied from the first photo. And one cannot get a clear, sharp crop of part of a photo from an iPhone photo – the sensor is just too small to achieve the quality.
