Cows

Cambridge is an interesting city of about 120,000 people, plus about 30,000 students. Not that the students are all here at the moment, because COVID has meant that some must stay away

The thing is that , as the crow flies, these cows are half a mile (800m) from The Grand Arcade, which is at what you might call the centre of the city.

  1. Yes, where the Grand Arcade is located does put the location of these bovine beauties in more perspective. A gorgeously atmospheric, ungodly kind of photo, I love the colour contrasts too. “Darn!” that I wasn’t with you this morning to see this cutie crew firsthand. 🐄

    1. They have a regular poker game there, so we might catch them again. Name the day and we can take a walk that way.

  2. I KNEW they all had a kind of sneaky look on their faces: Now I can spot cards snuck underneath them. That’s why they are all sitting down. I wonder who was winning, hmm… 🥸

This really is so lovely, David! It could be a painting. It’s bucolic, pastoral and very soothing to look at. I might have to get a print. It would look perfect over a mantle. But I don’t have one.
