The style reminds me of The Arches here, in our city … which is being turned into condominiums now, I believe. LikeLike I wonder whether they shared the same architect? There are lots of Italianate churches in Edinburgh. They have square bell towers and are light and simple. Quite a contrast to this one and the sheer excess of this one is what attracts and repulses me.
