Mundane History – Thursday Bloghop

Yes, she or one of her companions from Mercat Tours can often be seen on the High Street in Edinburgh. People pass by, seemingly oblivious to her existence.

  1. It’s amazing how quickly we become accustomed to and “blind” to things we see all the time! Were she to appear here, that would certainly raise a few eyebrows. She’s quite spectacular..

  5. Any time we’ve been to UK, we’ve loved coming across these historical figures. They really add colour to a place.

    1. I agree – it’s liberating – telling us that life can be more – even if the purpose of the costume is to advertise a tour.
