Haar is a Scottish word for a wet mist. There was haar the morning after the referendum. The haar in this photo, though, is from a couple of days before that – on the Meadows here in Edinburgh.

  1. This one is really awesome. I especially love the lone figure walking with an umbrella, braving the cold misty air. Makes for a great conversational piece of wall art. Well done David Bennett!

    1. Thank you.

I went out to take photos in the fog/haar, so I knew what I was after. Roll on more fog!

  2. Fog, Stunningly dreamy!
