Dean Kemp Sculptures At Summerhall

Summerhall is a rabbit warren of a building. It has, so I heard, around 500 rooms. Some of the rooms are very small, like this one where these sculptures by Dean Kemp were on display during the Makers’ Faire last weekend.

There were, I think, four artists who were working on a common theme – the meltdown at Fukushima Dai Ichi nuclear power station.

I like the sculpture at the front of this shot for the way the man’s very relaxed pose contrasts with the gas mask.
