Bedlam

This is Bedlam.

It’s a venue for plays, bands, and other events – especially during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the summer.

I shot it with the Camera+ app on my iPhone and then used the SnapSeed app for the HDR.

If I were shooting with a dSLR I could assess the contrast in the light and the overall colour temperature and pretty much know before I took the shot what it would come out like.

With SnapSeed, it’s pot luck every time. I don’t think I am getting any nearer to predicting how the app will interpret the HDR than I was the first time I used it.
