Image-Sizing Blues

I am lying back on the bed, iPhone in my hand.
Just put up a photo and I’m trying to understand…

What I am trying to understand is how to control the file size using the WordPress app.

The file size is about 150KB. In contrast to that, when am in my laptop and I prepare images for uploading, I can get them down below 40KB.

Does anyone knows how to keep the file size down on an iPhone?

Maybe there is an app for resizing?

As to why I like to keep file sizes down, well old habits die hard and I prefer to put the least amount of strain as possible on server resources.

    There seem to be apps for that. I couldn’t find a way, otherwise.

    I don’t know why I keep forgetting about the compressing of pictures… *sigh*

    I use an app called Simple Resize that work pretty well.

      I downloaded the app and resized an image. The next step is to upload the resized image to my laptop to see what the actual file size is.
