This is a Cymbidium orchid which I photographed in a hothouse a couple of months ago.
I processed the image in Photoshop and then created a second toned layer using one of the Nik filters.
Then I cut back on the toned layer, but just on the flowers and only moderately. That way the overall impression is of something modest and old-fashioned.
I am not a fan of photos that have been processed to show some parts in colour and other parts in monochrome – but I did here, and I wonder what you think?

I love the dreamy quality!

Love it – could gaze at it all day.
Sounds like a bit of work to get it, but the result is well worth it.
