Reasons To Be Cheerful

I believe that most things are redeemable and that it is an obligation to be optimistic.

I also wonder about the mentality of power leaders in large companies who will only behave responsibly if they are convinced that disaster looms, and then reluctantly.

As things stand, there may be room for argument about the effect that man is having on global warming.

There may even be room for argument about whether we are experiencing global warming at all or whether it is just a blip on the graph.

What is not in doubt is that we are messing up this planet with pollution.

So I say don’t let arguments about global warming be a red herring to deflect from the fact that we should clean up the mess we are making.

It doesn’t or shouldn’t need the justification that we are facing disaster in order for us to behave responsibly.
