If the flame in the candle holder looks a little artificial, it’s because I painted it in in Photoshop after the event because dear old Father Christmas was holding an empty holder.
What’s In A Name
One thing I learned today is that while Santa Claus and Father Christmas are pretty interchangeable terms here in England – to my wife he’s Santa Claus.
My wife is American; I am English; and neither of us is Christian.
As my wife says:
In truth, who knows what many Americans say; It’s a big country with many regional differences.
So, do you say potayto or potahto, tomayto or tomahto, Father Christmas Santa Claus?
