This is my darling wife Tamara and Stanley the horse at Wimpole Farm. The farm and hall are outside Cambridge, and somewhere in this blog is a photo I took of one of the horses being re-shod in the yard.

Yes, I have always loved horses. It started way back when I was a kid when I read the memorable, wonderful classic “Black Beauty.”Did you read that as a girl too? Fiction, but it felt so real. An excellent ‘read’!
