16mm On The Street

The plan was to go to the British Museum and photograph the architecture, so I put the 16mm lens on my camera. But it didn’t work out because they had an event on, so we walked the street.

This woman was with other women who were dressed up and I guess she might be the bride-to-be. But who knows.

In case you’re not familiar with the phenomenon, women dress up as a group to celebrate a birthday or a wedding. Imagine ten women dressed in fake cowboy costumes with pink cowboy hats and you get the idea.

So I am not going to be in a hurry to shoot street again with such a wide angle lens on full frame. I can handle 28mm, and 35mm is about my favourite. And 50mm is a bit tight but OK.
