His name is Lloyd and he plays really well – great timing and feeling (Oxford Street, London today). I was on my way to the Photographer’s Gallery, which is just down a side street a few feet to the left of Lloyd. As I was walking along, the sound just plucked me out of the air and I listened for a while with thoughts of BB King and that timing.
I had to grab the shot quickly with people passing in front all the time. This is straight out of the camera.
The bit I can’t figure out is where I dropped the change that I gave him, because I don’t see anything there. A mystery.
