This protest that I happened upon near Waterloo Station today, was made up of a mix of groups – Just Stop Oil, Extinction Rebellion, and others under the banner ‘Resistance Works’
Alongside them was this man with a placard protesting that man-made climate change is a lie. When I put this photo up on my laptop I was able to scan the QR code for his details.
His name is Montgomery Toms and he has a different slant on the ills of modern society, mostly that the rules are intended to bring a population to submission.
In the photo below, the man in the poster (Larch Maxey) is in prison for causing a public nuisance by conspiring to tunnel under a road with a view to preventing the expansion of Heathrow Airport.
