Aftermath

A couple of days ago I wrote about the Chiltern Firehouse Blaze. As I said, the day after the fire I was on a photowalk. We started on Oxford Street and meandered towards the hotel and I took some photos. I should have taken more.

The hotel was roped off and I shot from across the street – and so this is a crop of the full frame – with the chairs on which the guests sat and the blankets in which the guests wrapped themselves to keep warm, and a fire brigade ladder.
