Where To Photograph At The British Museum

The metadata attached to the digital file tells me I shot this photograph on the 22nd June 2014. You can see a banner on the photo that advertises the Vikings: life and Legend exhibition. Tamara and I remember the exhibition because the exhibits were spectacular.

So now yesterday a friend and I were at the British Museum and I was looking for architecturally interesting shots. And this first shot is looking up at the way the roof tapered off into the distance.

Then on the steps, people were photographing one another with their subjects lit by the light from above.

The light is diffuse and evens out shadows and reduces contrast, which is flattering for portraits of people.
