
With digital cameras the information about the photograph is stored in the EXIF data of the image file. So one can see the camera and lens one used and the date one shot the photo.
I shot this photo on the 7th January 2008 with a Nikon D200. I used a 50mm lens f/1.8 lens at aperture of f/7.1. The shutter speed was 1/100th of a second and the ISO was 640.
The Nikon D200 is a heavy beast by today’s standards. It has a magnesium alloy body and weighs 920 g with battery installed.
The camera has a 10.2 MP CCD sensor, which is small by today’s standards with 20MP or more being common.
And it uses Compact Flash cards for storing images, rather than SD cards that are common today.
