The ‘Backs’ as they are known, are the views of several Cambridge University Colleges from Queens Road. The Colleges back on to the River Cam, and their grounds extend over both banks of the river.

This is a view of King’s College Chapel viewed from the Backs, with cows in the field. Kings College is in the middle of the city. Cows in the city is one of the hallmarks of the place.
