Hanami

Hanami is the word for the tradition and experience of looking at cherry blossom. It includes sitting, eating and drinking beneath the trees. That doesn’t include this tree because it is fenced off. (But see below).

This is another photo I took with my film camera.

Now here on the grass there are people of every style. The Europeans, or at least ‘not-Japanese’, are standing up.
