  1. Where did you take this, do you recall? I remember another shot with a boy getting his hair cut by either a relative or work colleague. I am guessing this may be common in certain cities or towns. The little guy getting his hair cut is either patiently allowing his hair to be snipped or perhaps he is a tad anxious? Wrong of me to jump to conclusions, however. Overall, I love the layers of expression in this photo.

    1. I too think he looks anxious and I’m pretty sure this was in Bundi as well.

  2. Poor, little guy, although I bet he looked fine in the end as he has such lovely hair.

    Bundi was such a terrific place to visit from a cross-cultural perspective, I think. It was barely if at all touched by a tourist presence (uh, although true, we were there as such), and it showed how a lot of Indians who don’t have much live. A real contrast to the lives of so many Westerners.
