This is a view in St John’s College Cambridge – looking towards the Bridge Of Sighs. And the number of punts made me think of an Elizabethan flotilla with the reigning monarch displaying their finery, making their way to somewhere important along the River Thames.

    1. Yes, the architecture is not so much a backdrop, as a message that permeates the town. On the whole it is a light touch.
