Calla Lilies

The Calla lilies are growing by the greenhouses in the Botanic Garden here in Cambridge. Processing the photo, I touched up a couple of spots on the leaves but decided to leave the little fly in place.

Three years ago I photographed Calla lilies by the lake in the Botanic Garden. I completely forgot I had done that, which is one of the reasons for this website – to be a diary in photography.

  1. My mother-in-law (z”l) grew Calla lilies in her front yard and they graced her Passover seder table nearly every year. Calah in Hebrew is daughter-in-law. 😉
