Photography And The Ends Of The Day

Early morning is cool blue light. Late afternoon is warm golden light. Either is when photographers want to be out because the light is less direct than the contrasty light of midday.

I came to do a job, which was to photograph and to taste.

I stuck my fingers in a couple of them and tasted the stigmas and stiles and stamens in the quest for taste. Would they taste like saffron from crocuses?

In a word – no taste at all. They do however have a lovely perfume.
