Newton’s Apple Tree At Trinity College

Can you tell with which brand of camera I photographed this scene outside Trinity College Cambridge today?

I think I can. It has a ‘look’. Yes, I know I actually know what camera it was because I used it. But still.

Every camera has a ‘look’. I shot Nikon for years and thought it had a look, contrasty and maybe too contrasty for my taste. And with the camera with which I shot this – there is a kind of painterly look. It is nice, but somehow more impressionistic than the neutral and more realistic colours and rendition of the Nikons.

Have a go – say what brand you think it is, in the comments.
