Tree In Kings College

Can you get any more comfortable than this, letting the branches relax on the ground. You have feel safe to be that relaxed. And you have to be sure that nobody is going to come along and trip over the branches. Being in the grounds of Kings College Cambridge is a wise choice.

    1. In the full size version of the photo on my computer I can see a few leaves, so it is a Horse chestnut. As it happens, I went on a day’s course at the Botanic Garden a week ago, so next time I am near the tree I will follow the method from the teacher, Ros Bennett (no relation) who showed us how to identify trees (native trees) from buds and twigs. If I am up to it I will write more about the course.
