Is It A Myth

Here is a crop of a photograph I took with a Fuji X-T2 with 18-55mm lens. And then the full frame.

The ‘Is It A Myth’ title refers to whether there is any point in looking at a new camera when the camera I have can do this.

I am pretty sure the Fuji cannot match the newer cameras in low light. And the ability to shoot at fast shutter speeds in poor light depends on being able to crank up the ISO.

But still –

I can’t get a comparison from DXO Mark because they don’t test Fuji sensors. So I will make do with this comparison from DP Review of the Nikon Z6 and the Fuji X-T2. Judge for yourself:
