Van Gogh Portraits

Visitors at the Van Gogh Portrait exhibition at The Courtauld Gallery

This is at the Van Gogh Portraits exhibition at The Courtauld Gallery in London. We went there a couple of days ago, and could not help but notice the attire of some of the gallery visitors.

The woman in the gathered tulip dress (as Tamara named it) stood out, but then there was the man in the long overcoat in mauve and purple checks. Pretty natty, eh.

And to anchor the photograph in time, there is man wearing a mask.

  1. He was a great master. I think that the BBC’s Doctor Who may have shot a few scenes for an episode about Van Gogh at this location a few years ago.

Wow, I’ve never seen a coat like that, on the woman! And the man’s is fabulous. I love them both.

    1. Yes, One really has to have a big personality to carry these clothes off on the street outside of the capital.
