    1. I know them by the name Cornflower – and although I do know the name Batchelor’s Buttons I could not have told you what plant it was. So I have learned something 😊 – There are cornflowers there, and now with your information I will look to see whether I can spot one ‘turning’

        (and it is the very distinctive pattern of their calyx that gives them away; )
