And then the clear blue sky was not clear any more. My plan did not include bringing an umbrella or wearing a rainproof coat, so I started to head back. But then I saw that if I moved further this way, I would see the trees against the storm at a better angle.

And that is one of the delights of photography (or of just looking). To sacrifice tiredness or the approach of rain, or to put up with having to clamber over obstacles – all for the sake of the view.
