    1. There were some close calls as well because some of the steersmen are doing it for a living and some are first timers with little idea how to steer. At one point there was one punt lying broadside on to the river being pushed along by two other punts.

      1. Not surprised about the ‘traffic jam’ from what we have seen previously.

        I also think the non-pro punters who just think they can do it with no previous or little experience have no idea what they may be up against.

        1. I am amazed at the disparity between how they think they can do it and how they actually cope. That said, I have yet to see someone fall in.
