I photographed this scene with an iPhone and then ran it through the Waterlogue app.

In post-processing I made layers and scaled them down to fit the photo frame.

The photograph came first, and then the sketch rendition.

And then the words. I was looking around for quotes and didn’t find one, but this idea seemed satisfying.
