David, I’m a sucker for street performers – they add a spice to the daily routine and transform mundane spaces into something special. Before the Arctic, I lived in downtown Seattle, WA and would always purposely change the route of my pedestrian commute if I even thought I heard music; it always enhanced my day and I’d happily part with change in gratitude. I love these photos you took because they capture the moment so well.

Yes, and yes again.
It was such a pleasure listening to them so deep into the music. I asked them to stand near the wall so they would have a plain background behind them for a good photo.
After I took the shot, I thought there was something ‘American Gothic’ about the way Summer is looking straight on at the camera.
