Mood Board / Creative Market

The lower image here is the mood board I downloaded a few minutes ago as a freebie from Creative Market.

I am pretty sure I have mentioned them before. Join for free, stick around for the Monday freebies, and maybe buy a font or any of the many other things they sell.

So while I am waiting for a phone call, I put three images in the mood board.

The boat on the right is a crop from a retirement greeting card we are working on.

As you can see, the sea is translucent, not opaque. We can see into the sea and we can see the bottom of the boat.

Does the bottomless sea strikes you as a little bit disconcerting, or does it speak of freedom in retirement, or something else? Just wondering how it strikes people.
