I noticed them in London when we went there on Thursday. These were growing against and around a London Plane tree on the pavement. When we came back to Cambridge, I kept seeing them. I cannot imagine I passed them by before without noticing them (I like them a lot), but maybe I did. Or maybe they are started blooming about now.
They were lovely, thanks for capturing their soft palette ‘for posterity’.

Oh, just look at all that lovely pollen David! All that’s missing is a Fuzzy Bumbler all coated like a truffle; )
