Raindrops on roses
And whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Everywhere you turn in Cambridge there are posters
Posters on railings
Tied on with bright cotton
Yoga for children and Bach for beginners
Choral recitals and plays with deep meaning
These are a few of my favorite things
I hope people take them down when they are no longer relevant. Otherwise, no one will keep looking.

Yes, they do take them down. It’s mostly people from the Colleges who put them up, and they need the space for new posters!

I’d rather see art on railings than posters, at least then there’d be a better excuse to obscure the greenery beyond…

Fair point. The posters are ‘a thing’ – part of the Cambridge tradition. From a distance, it is a kind of art. The particular green space in this photo is publicly accessible. I sometimes go in there are look out. It is a kind of vantage point.
