In Saint Petersburg

Here is a photo of my wife Tamara looking at a plaque on the wall of Vladimir Nabokov’s house in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

We visited Saint Petersburg and got back just this last weekend. We’ll post some articles on the Quillcards Blog and I’ll put some extracts and links here.

Thanks for taking this photo and for posting it, my lovely hubby! 🌺

Ah, Nabokov: What a fabulous, astonishing author he was. As I said to the lovely woman who worked there who illuminated bits and pieces about the inside of the house for us — I never could get over how Nabokov wrote in English so gorgeously as Russian was his native tongue.

    1. Yes, he was a man apart – clever and free thinking.
