I adopted the Sketch theme and took it home with me…
Did you see the post from WordPress today about the Sketch theme?
I looked at the theme when it came out but I wasn’t interested because the demo looks like this:
I wasn’t interested in a grid theme.
But wait! When I read the post today I saw that one featured site had a ‘normal’ sidebar setup. So I looked to see how to do it (very easy) and adopted it – and as of today that’s the theme you see here.
I had to chop down the length of the menu items because the allocated space for the menu is pretty narrow, but overall I am happy with the theme.
What do you think?
I think it’s lighthearted and fun.
I’m very happy with it.
Anyone can download any of the free WP.com themes and use them in their own self-hosted WordPress sites, so I might use it on one of those, too.
I like! Very much!
Like you, I didn’t even look into it when it was released, but this is very nice.
It I use it on a self-hosted site I can tweak allocated length of the navigation menu – make it longer. I might have a go at that.
