MY COMMENT
For anyone using Simplenote (which is now owned by Automattic, the company that owns WordPress) I wrote an introduction to Simplenote in May and explained how I link it to my desktop nvALT notetaking app so that SimpleNote acts as an online backup and a way of accessing my nvALT notes from another machine when I am away from home.
If you use a Mac, you might want to take a look at it.
nvALT is very easy to use because it has such a flat structure (no folders) and saves work as you type.
