Project 365 Day 37 – Ready Wherever You Are

When WordPress suggested the theme of ‘Ready’ for postaday and used an image of a bicycle to illustrate the theme, I thought I could do that without skipping a beat.

That’s because I knew I had a photograph of a bicycle in a Paris side street.

I guess I was supposed to be a bit more inventive with postaday and use another image that represented ‘Ready’.

The reason for mentioning this is that from all the thousands of images I have taken, I can pick out a particular one and tell you where and when I shot it. So I knew where to look for the photograph I took several years ago of a bicycle in Paris.

I couldn’t tell you what I had for lunch two days ago, but I remember this shot.

  1. Meg Glidden says:

Cool. The bike looks eager to GO. I love low angle shots.

    1. Yes, ready to go – perhaps with a student from the university, or someone returning home with a long stick of bread under their arm. Who know?

  2. Brandon says:

    What a charming streetscape.

    1. Thanks, I think the up and down of city streets is where the magic is.

  3. Tyler Texan says:

lovely photo! I too have a photograph of me on my bike but I haven’t posted it yet..

  4. coolfeline says:

I like the low angle of it …

I’m like that too … I have thousands, but still I could tell you when and where..
