Wowzer! That’s some shot …and some building too! Very impressive..

By the way; I’ve been meaning to ask you where the header image is from?! It’s lovely!

The header image is a shot I took one Autumn within 50 miles of Edinburgh – don’t recall exactly where. It was late afternoon and the sun warmed all the colours.

Thanks for the comment – it is a beautiful building and the columns are so tall and elegant – it seems ‘impossible’ :-)

Such a stunning ceiling and so elegant! Haven’t been there for years, x

Oh David that’s gorgeous! The ceiling looks like intricate lace or macramé, thanks for sharing it with us.

      Glad you like it!

Every time I take a moment to think about it, it makes me realise how advanced the sensibilities were in the 1500s when this was being built. :-)

I always take the time to look up..people usually forget..that’s where I usually see the most beautiful parts of the building..like what you’ve captured above :)

Yes, ‘up’ in buildings like these is where the heart is supposed to ascend, I guess ;-)
